About Us
We are the representatives of the Energy Societies from Oxford, Imperial, UCL and Cambridge. Collaborating to create ever-better opportunities for the student body.
In 2024 we launched the initiative, receiving incredible amounts of interest from the student body, with over 700 project applications from Imperial alone.
In 2025 we have been building larger project collaborations as well as developing the Sustainability Entrepreneurship Competition, which will open inaugurally in October 2025.

Dr David Reiner is a highly valued advisor to USI; allowing for ensured continuous quality for participating students every year.
Dr Reiner is a Professor of Technology Policy at Cambridge University, the Co-Director of the Energy Policy Research Group (EPRG) at Cambridge, one of the UK's leading academic energy-policy groups, sits on the UK CCUS Council (Carbon Capture), and has given speeches in Parliament.
